Scouts learn amazing things by doing. Better still they choose what they do and take things safely at their own pace in a supported environment. Our program of active learning encourages life skills such as leadership, resilience, confidence, and working with others. Scouting leads the world in outdoor activities for today’s youth and that is a great reason to make Scouting part of young lives.

The first step is to contact the Samford Scout Group and find out what would be the best night to come along to the section that suits your age group.
To do this by sending an email to [email protected] with details of who would like to join including age/s.
Once you've arranged a visit with us, come along and see what Scouting is all about - parents are welcome to stay and see what Scouts is all about too and how Adults can participate.
A night at Scouts can be quite varied from week to week depending on what the Unit is working towards - so you are welcome to come along a few times before making a decision about joining.
After a few weeks hopefully you will decide to join Samford Scout Group and we will be able to give you all the details about what you need to do to join.

You can go online at anytime to the Scout Shop website below and purchase a youth's uniform shirt (to suit scout section they are enrolled in)
