Within central Samford a project has been underway to regenerate the bushland site of Scout land between Cash Avenue and Samford Creek. This area is of very special significance with in the Moreton Bay region as it contains remnant riparian rainforest and is at the very highest level of the Government's endangered classification.
Through the efforts of volunteers from Samford Landcare and the Samford Scout Group, this area is being transformed into a walking path area with creek viewpoints, plus an activity area for budding navigators and environmental enthusiasts.
